£9M investment in Nottingham for New Arts Venue

Construction Starts on The Squire Performing Arts Centre (The SPACe) at Nottingham Girls’ High School

What
Work is starting on the Nottingham Girls’ High School brand new performing arts centre – a £9 million investment for the city. The Squire Performing Arts Centre is funded by the Girls’ Day School Trust, together with a successful fundraising campaign from the School led by Rosemary Squire. The SPACe will be available to the local community, sharing a valuable resource with local schools, arts organisations and businesses.

Nottingham Girls’ High School alumnae, Dame Stella Rimington, former Director of MI5 and Patron of The SPACe and Rosemary Squire OBE, joint CEO of the Ambassador Theatre Group and Director of The SPACE Development Board, will be in attendance and available for photographs and interview.
