Well if my talks and seminars are anything to go by audiences tell me all the time that they have every intention of staying fit and healthy – you know I’d love to believe them, but here lies my challenge – words are cheap and very few people take the time to plan and take action consistently to make that intent a reality. We all have the ability to tap into our true energy and to gain knowledge and drive to make healthy choices.
So what are the alternatives in later life? You can choose from being dependent on others, becoming a burden to your family, a care home, or possibly even an earlier than expected exit?
Imagine that your child was trapped and their life threatened unless you can release them and pull them to safety, what level of intention would you have to save your child? Would you just give it your best shot and hope for the best? Or would you summon up everything within yourself, that hidden energy and strength included, ensuring that you saved your child?
I know what I’d do, and I’m sure most people would do the same, some of you may have already tapped into this amazing energy when faced with a threat – but tell me this, why do most people only use their true power of intent when faced with tragedy or danger?
Showing true intention for your health and wellbeing is vital if you want to remain as fit and healthy as possible for as long as possible. It’s never too late or too early to start living with intention when it comes to improving your health.
So start today, do it for yourself, your family, your spouse or partner – live with true intention and take action today, don’t wait until it’s too late! Value your health!
