Rebrand to Blimey Creative marks company’s next phase of growth and vision to put Nottingham back on the creative map

Nottingham, UK – 1st December 2015 – A creative design and digital agency in Nottingham has officially entered its next phase of growth with the unveiling of its new name Blimey Creative. Following a thorough evaluation process, the West Bridgford-based firm, which has increasingly been recognised for its creativity, has replaced its former name, Savvy Creative, to one that will reflect the surprise and excitement it regularly delivers to its clients.

The rebranding will firmly position the agency as being creative, resourceful and reliable. Blimey has promised that its clients can expect bigger and better things along with a truly fresh approach. It will be building on its business network too, which brings better collaboration between a range of local professionals including photographers, SEO specialists and PR consultants.

Adrian Pritchard, Managing Director at Blimey Creative, said: “I’ve always strived towards running an agency that bridged the gap between creativity and service. I’m proud of the team at Savvy, we’ve spent a long time perfecting this proven model and I can’t wait to build a future with Blimey. We’re doing more than ever before, in marketing, digital and design, we’ve upped the ante where creative’s concerned and the team has grown at a rate of knots. It’s time for a change and our new name reflects who we are now.”

A specialist in the ever demanding food sector, the agency works behind the scenes supporting Britain’s biggest egg supplier Noble Foods in both the UK and USA. Adrian added: “While the glamour of working with a brand based in the Golden Gate city is exciting, we have maintained our values in supporting creativity within the Midlands.”

The agency works with some of East Midland’s most successful businesses and brands such as Delilah Fine Foods, The Resort Group PLC and Melton Foods. More recently, the agency has won new clients including Nottingham City Homes, Churchill CS and Moy Park.

Rob Newell, Marketing Director of the Shell Egg Division at Noble Foods, said: “Blimey is the kind of agency that pulls out all the stops – both creatively and with its day to day service. The team is a bit quirky, a bit surprising, and we are very happy with the level and quality of work that is produced. In fact, it’s not uncommon for us to respond with a ‘Blimey!’ when we see ideas that we love.”

The team at Blimey also plan to help put Nottingham back on the creative map. Commenting on the agency’s support for the region’s creative community, Adrian said: “It’s long been a city known for its love of all things creative – from our two successful universities to inspirational places like the Nottingham Contemporary – but it deserves as much attention as any of the major cities. Nottingham is a real hub of genius. There is so much to see here, whether by taking a stroll through the Creative Quarter or heading to one of the many independent cinemas, and it’s time everyone else knew about it. We’re not shy to shout about all the incredible creative work this city creates and Blimey will be making as much noise as possible next year.”

The agency has produced phenomenal results for Delilah Fine Foods, one of its longest standing clients in Nottingham. Sangita Tryner, Delilah’s owner, commented: “Blimey understands my brand as well as my business. Its approach to marketing and creative is refreshing and the team have always been able to translate what I want into something amazing.”
